Journal 5

This journal is the last journal for my LLP (Language learning plan). In this journal I will write about one of problems that I have in grammar, speaking and pronunciation. In grammar I will write about question tags and in speaking and pronunciation I will focus on pronunciation of the words especially words that contain a lot of vowels and Speak fluently and fast.

First of all, I will write how I solve the first problem which is in grammar. All the time when I have any question about question tags I became confuse especially if this question contains (I). For Example, I'm sitting next to you? I asked myself what is the answer will be. What I learned the answer will be I'm sitting next to you, aren't I? Present tense, if the subject is "I", the auxiliary changes to are or aren't. http://www.englishclub.com/grammar/verbs-questions-tag.htm this websites help me a lot more than the websites that I but it before in my LLP because the websites that I put in my LLP is not work new they fix something in it.

The last problem was in speaking and pronunciation. I had problem when I pronounce word that contain some vowels. To solve this problem I use some sites, some program and small discussion with my friend. For example, when I was coming to the college I was listened to the BBC program in the radio. Also, I used http://www.skysoftwarehouse.com/ to help me to pronounce the word in correct way. To speck fast I make some discussion with them and we true to explain what we want to say in English.

In conclusion, I solve a lot of my problems from this websites because each one of them has learned me something. I will use some of these websites like sky because it has more than one section to help me .Also, I will make more discussion with my friend because I have some improve in my pronunciation.

Journal 4

In the previous journal I wrote about some of the problems that I faced in writing Department such as how I can write a good conclusion, and how I can make a good summarizing task. Thanks to some sites I was able to solve these problems and learned the correct ways to write them. In this article I will focus to solve other problems that are important in writing because it is the basis of good writing, such as sorting ideas and thesis statement.

In writing sorting ideas is very important because it helps us to have good ideas in our essays. On top of that, it is my biggest problem in writing. I have problem when I want to write in the exam because all the time I feel that I don’t have any good ideas to write about. To resolve this problem I used some ways. The first way I read some books that help me on the development of information I have and give me more ideas such as, some newspapers and some magazines like Al Ittihad newspaper and some magazines such as cultural. The other way is I listen to some of the programs that talk about a lot of cultural subjects such as medicine and the life programs. Some programs on the radio such as BBC. I listen to these programs and I tried to write about what I heard and this method helped me a lot in the development of ideas.

On the other hand, thesis statement is the second problem in my writing. It is a generalization preparing the reader for supporting details that will follow. In a research paper it tells the reader what you will be proving about the topic. Also, it cannot involve my opinion or fact or question. To solve this problem I attempted to review some books that explain how we have good thesis statement such as, Effective Academic Writing book. This book helped me a lot because I choose some topics and I tried to make good thesis statement. That way helped me a lot because now I can write better thesis statement than what I had written before.

In conclusion, this journal focuses in writing specially in sorting ideas and thesis statement. Also, how can I solve the problems that I have in these to part of writing. In addition, to solve this I used websites and some books such as, Effective Academic Writing book and some newspapers. I will continue to use these methods because I felt some progress from them.

Journal 3

This week I did not have a lot of time to accomplish what I viewed in the Language Learning Plan, because I was busy in the completion of some other business. But I attempted to devote some time, and at this time I focus on writing part in my Language Learning Plan. In this part I need to work a lot especially in summarize tasks and conclusion.

First of all, my problem was I did not know how I can make a good summary and what a specification that makes it good is. Also, what is the method that makes a good summary? I thought a good summary must contain my opinion on it. But explain to me that I cannot, I would add my opinion on the summary. Next, you should not give your own ideas or criticisms as part of the summary. In addition, a good summary should not include selected examples, details, or information which is not relevant to the piece of writing taken as a whole. Finally, a good summary should probably include the main idea of each paragraph, and the main evidence supporting that idea. I tried it grabbed what I understood from this site on some articles in newspapers and on some lessons. And I felt I got some improvement and I will continue to get a good summary contains all the core ideas of a good summary.

The second problem was how I can make good conclusion. At first when you wrote the conclusion I could not write more than two lines. But this site explained to me that conclusion has two parts. First part must include the summary statement is one or two sentences which restate the thesis in a fresh way to reinforce the essay's main idea. The second part should include the clincher is a final thought which should create a lasting impression on the reader http://home.earthlink.net/~khatzi/essay/concl.htm. After I read this site got a lot of development in the conclusion, because I applied what I learned on this site that I have some scripts and I re-write again and I noticed that I can add more good ideas.

Obviously, what I learned from those two sites helped me a lot to solve these two problems. The first sites taught me how I can make a good summary, and I second site taught me how I can make a good conclusion. I used these two sites because the sites that I wrote in my LLP did not work because of this I change them. Also, I will work more to develop me summary and conclusion.

Journal 2

I Allocated this week for the application of the above and presented in language learning plan and especially I will exercises to develop grammar speaking and pronunciation. In grammar my problem is irregular verb forms but in speaking and pronunciation I have some problems to distinguish between the letters (P) and the letter (b) when I pronounce the word and stress in the word. This journal will present problems and things that help me to solve these problems.

My biggest problem was in grammar because I did not know a lot of irregular verb forms. And that was problem because in each exam I must have wrong forms for irregular verb. Because of this I attempted in last week to memorized 3 irregular verbs etch day. To memorize these irregular verbs I used Oxford Practice Grammar book. Also, I put these irregular verbs that I memorized in sentences in my notebook. I will use this book again because it helped me to save irregular verbs in easy way. In addition, it is classified irregular verbs in easy way to make it easier for students to remember it.

First in speaking and pronunciation I will take about how to distinguish between the letters (P) and the letter (b) when I pronounce the word. These letters cause me embarrassment because I did not know how I pronounce them in properly way, and I did not no difference between them because they seemed no difference between them. To solve these problems I used many things. One of these things is English Production book. It helped me a lot because it has pictures that learned how we pronounce the letter. Moreover, it has a lot of example and exercises. That book learned me if I pronounce the letter (p) air will come out of the mouth but if I pronounce the letter (b) air will not come out of the mouth. I did not use websites that I posed in my LLP because I have some problem in internet.

The last problem was stress in the word. It is important to know where the place for stress in the words is. I used dictionary Oxford Word power to help me to know where the place of stress is. I have selected five words that I do not know where the place of stress is is and I use a dictionary to find out where the stress and this taught me how I pronounce the word in the right way.

In conclusion, last week I learned many things I learned some irregular verbs, how I distinguish between the letters (P) and the letter (b) when I pronounce the word and stress in the word. Also, those books help me a lot and I am sour that will use them again.

Journal (1).

In this journal I want to talk about the plan to achieve the goals set by the grammar especially in other / another and present continuous. I feel that the problem I was having when I have a rave rules have been solved. I will show what problems that I have in those two grammar and how I solved it.

First of all, other /another are one of grammar that I feel confused when I have it in exam or anything else. In the first time I thought that other means a lot of things and anther means very different things. But I shocked when I opened this websites. It shows the correct meanings for these words. Moreover, before I opened this site I have always question “When I can use other? And When I can use anther?”First, this site shows me what is the different between other and anther. Other is an adjective meaning 'different'. Another expresses quantity, something extra or additional. The second step was that I must test myself to know if I understand or not. And this websites has some exercise that proved that I understand that grammar.

The second grammar was Present continuous. It is very difficult to me to understand in which time I must use present continuous. In the first time I was only use it when I have some things talk about something that happen now. When I opened this websites http://www.englishpage.com/verbpage/presentcontinuous.html, and, Oxford Practice Grammar book. They proved that what I thought was correct but in some way. It is correct that we use present continuous to take about something happen now but also, we use it to indicate that something will or will not happen in the near future. Also, we use Present Continuous with words such as "always" or "constantly" expresses the idea that something irritating or shocking often happens. In this websites” www.eclecticenglish.com’’ I did some exercise that show that I have some progress in this grammar.

In conclusions, in last week I correct what I thought about other/another and present continuous. Also, I answered the question that I had. And I hope that I will not make any mistake in these grammars again. Also, I will use those websites again because I learned a lot of things.
